Dude, when you're driving on the highway...there are multiple lanes for a reason. I'd like to think we all understand what each one of them are for. Now what we understand and how we actually drive can be 100% out of alignment. Please be mindful when driving on the highway.
In a scenario where traffic is moving at anticipated speeds and there are not crashes or incidents causing potatos...I mean people to be goosenecking....if you are in any other lane than the far right lane and the car on the right side of you is going the same speed as you...MOVE!
In the same scenario and you're in the far left lane. The car in front of you is going 15mph over the speed limit, passing cars in the right hand lane without issue. DO NOT RIDE THEIR ASSES...they are not driving slow. If you want to go around them at an opportune time, go for it and don't slow down because now all the sudden you are speeding in order to maintain their already 15mph over. They shouldn't have to move as they are already going way above the speed limit to begin with. Just because they are in front of you, does not mean they are going slow.
And I'll end my rant with, if you're going the speed limit in the far left lane....GTFO of the way.
